A Summer of Wonder by Hilary Dartt Great story, feel as if I got two stories for the price of one. The diary involves a lot of past history and thoughts on many subjects. Other part of the story is the real life, present time where the daughter is heading off to college soon. Father of daughter wants a divorce as he's lost his love for his wife. Mother just goes about her business, keeping lists and things to do. Love the road trip and they end up at Mama Katherine's where they learn so many past secrets that explain a lot of things... Sisters nudge Sara into fighting for him in their own ways. Can't wait to read more from this author as she digs into deep thoughts about subjects that matter to me. Like that different generations are in this book, series each with their own problems in today's world. Devastating news from Mama Katherine, hits me hard as she has what I have. Very descriptive and there are not only fun times but sad ones also, passion, adventure, travel and charity work and getting out of their comfort zones. Excerpt from next book is included at the end. About the author is also included. Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.
