She works in the advertising field and he works on air with a TV station. Her boss tells her to take at least time off til April and she heads to her best friends mothers ranch in CA. She had formed a very good relationship with Caroline when the daughter had died.
She loves getting up early to be a ranch hand and do a lot of physical labor. She knows just a few of the 20 hands.
She is able to confide in Tate Jordan who also has pain in the relationships he's had over the years.
He leaves and she returns to NY where she's in charge of a film, staging actors and then traveling to take photos of the scenes. She is at the last ranch and takes a huge stallion for a ride and gets injured..
