The Castaways by Elin Hildetbrand
Each of the 3 couples think they may have contributed to the death of their friends. They leave behind 2 kids.
The story goes back in time to when they all grew up and met on the island to live.
Alternating chapters of the individuals get to talk about how they feel they were at fault and why they think so. The investigation proves
other things are at fault. Lots of memories from 9-11 are brought up as they play a part in the whole thing. Everybody confesses what they know to the chief of police.
Love the descriptions of the places they traveled to and how the book got it's title.
