The Gift of the Ladybug by Carole M. AmberI first wanted to read this book because my grandson loves ladybugs and doesn't harm them-he knows their good uses.
Very colorful illustrated children's book about 2 horses that have a colt. They are blessed with a boy.
They were so in love with the new one that they didn't realize he was a ladybug and not a colt at all.
The part I like the best is when they ask advice from the doctor on how to care for the ladybug so they can continue to care for him.
They realize the ladybug, Polkadot, won't life as long as they so they made everyday count with the things they did together to show their love.
Love the story of how this book came to be, for TJ.
